Located on Lanai island, renowned for once being a pineapple plantation, the Four Seasons Lanai offers its guests a peaceful spot. The hotel reopened in 2016 after a $75 million makeover. 213 rooms and suites were given a contemporary touch: varnished wood, creme linens, the rooms are now large, furnished in a way to allow plenty of light and air. The spa amplifies the wellness of this location through its stark white interior against the surrounding lush greenery. When it comes to the restaurants, Nobu Lanai offers sushis made from the catch of the day, while the One Forty features a selection of American Steak and Hawaiian seafood. The rest of the resort opens onto 140.5 square miles of island delight, perfect for exploring by foot or by 4×4, and upon which one may enjoy a 18-hole golf course.
