Four Seasons Hotel Montreal

Rawnaq hotel collection

Not all five stars shine. We’ve visited thousands to find the ones that truly do. Why Four Seasons Hotel Montreal ?

Opened in June 2019, the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is the new head-turner of the city’s Golden Square Mile. Housed in a black-glass tower designed by local firms Lemay and Sid Lee Architecture, it stands out amid the Victorian-era architecture around.

With 169 rooms and 18 private residences done in a contemporary style, the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is your classic grown-up setting for a city break. The decor is chic and shines a fresh light on the city’s hotel scene, like the velvet-clad walls in the rooms and common areas, and the acres of marble everywhere you look. The design is a joint effort between the Paris-based firm Gilles & Boissier and the local Atelier Zébulon Perron, and the result is an oasis with a la vie en rose feel, courtesy of those pink hues in the lobby and lounge areas, and the rooms. But the pièce de résistance of the hotel’s decor has got to be the Pascale Girardin sculpture of gold-tipped glass petals that cascades down the inner atrium. It stretches from the 9th to the 18th floor and it’s an absolute treat for the eye every time you step off the elevator. The service also matches the Four Seasons pedigree of the hotel, just like the spa, with its maze-like hallways, cozy treatment rooms and relaxation lounge with pillowed sofas in small alcoves. For gastronomes, the hotel’s dining venues are showstoppers in their own right. Marcus, with its copper bar, casual terrace and airy vibe is your traditional brasserie, while just off the lobby, the Marcus Lounge is a dynamic social space that turns into a swanky bar come nightfall.

Waldorf Astoria Beijing

From the outside, the Waldorf Astoria Beijing, with its shiny facade of copper and bronze latticework, makes a pretty good case for being one of the city’s most glamorous hotels, but inside… Ah, that’s where the magic really happens.

Bvlgari Hotel Beijing

Savvy business travelers and A-listers like Bella Hadid can’t get enough of it, and we don’t blame them. After all, from the cosseting interiors of the Bvlgari Hotel Beijing, the perspective on the congested city outside is different.
