De L'Europe Amsterdam

For over 25 years, De L’Europe Amsterdam has been a custodian of Amsterdam’s essence and culture. There is the elegance of the decor of course, from the red-stone Renaissance facade to the recently renovated rooms, all 48 of which feature near-exact replicas of paintings from famous Dutch masters. The atmosphere is resolutely contemporary, from the varied colour palettes to the modern furniture but it still nods at the local heritage, like the choice of fabrics and wallpapers, and little details of the decor. Another highlight of the hotel is also its restaurants and bars that pay homage to the culinary traditions of Amsterdam and the other cuisines of the world. Like Marie with its waterfront terrace overlooking the river; It recalls the endless summers of Côte d’Azur with its French cuisine and informal atmosphere. The hotel is also home to Trattoria Graziella where the menu is decidedly Italian, right down to the wine. Elsewhere the hotel’s iconic gentleman’s pub named after Alfred “Freddy” Heineken is a place where guests can sit down for a cocktail or traditional Heineken beer on tap to lots of leather upholstery and Jazz music.
