The hotel occupies both heritage-listed buildings that make the precinct, with 192 rooms and suites spanning eight levels and 3 ground-level restaurants and bars, including the signature Brasserie 1930, McRae Bar, named after the building’s original architect and Aperture, which makes for the light-filled heart of Capella Sydney. The absolute highlight of the property? The way it balances storied architectural features and a more contemporary design aesthetic: Rooms are masterfully crafted spaces with lots of walnut, natural stones and deluxe textiles, The restaurants immerse in the glamor of times gone by, and the hotel itself sits within footsteps of the harbour foreshore, the famed Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Another highlight of the hotel is also its wellness space, on the top floor.
