Soaring 43 storeys, Atlantis The Royal was 8 years in the making, opening early 2023 over a 3-day extravaganza that included Beyoncé’s first concert in 5 years. This is a hotel that impresses with its scale but also its grown-up attitude, and the lineup of the world’s best architects, designers, artists and chefs to make it a reality. Light and bright, the rooms are done in neutral tones with swirls of aquatic blue in the carpets. In the suites and penthouses, you will find glass-sided pools high up in the air, and huge indoor and outdoor lounge areas. However, where the hotel really stands out is the choice of restaurants by some of the finest chefs in the world: Nobu by the Beach, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, La Mar by Gastón Acurio and Jaleo by José Andrés, to name a few. The hotel is also home to multiple swimming pools, of which the sky-high daybeds at Cloud 22 are our favourite… until nighttime when the scene-y Ling Ling takes over as the premier restaurant, bar and club to see and be seen. On the wellness front, Awaken is Atlantis The Royal’s 32,000 square feet wellness space. It offers holistic therapies fused with modern technology and regenerative treatments, some exclusive to Awaken.
